LINE of Duty star Rochenda Sandall slammed the television industry for not reflecting the lives of mixed-race families. Sandall, who plays the role of Lisa McQueen in popular BBC drama Line of Duty, says she hasn't seen a family like hers represented on screen.
The Black Lives Matter movement has seen many celebrities speak out about systemic racism in the entertainment industry, and Sandall has had her say.
Speaking in a recent interview, Rochenda said: "Myself, I'm from a mixed-race family. My father is white and my mother is mixed-race, so I'm mixed origin as well.
But I never, ever really see families represented like mine. "My sister, for example, is blonde with blue eyes. But you don't see that.
