The sick killers of Lee Rigby were defended to the tune of £240,000 of taxpayer's money, it has been revealed. The 25-year-old Fusilier was hacked to death in Woolwich, southeast London in 2013 near the Royal Artillery Barracks, by fanatics Michael Adebolajo, 35, and Michael Adebowale, 39.
His killers called it a “revenge attack" for the killing of Muslims by British soldiers. Rigby’s killers mowed him down in a car before hacking him to death close to his barracks.
The pair are serving life for their crimes, but now it has been revealed they bagged a combined £240,000 in legal help to fight their case.
They are among 15 terrorists to defend themselves in criminal and civil cases, amounting to a massive £8million, The Sun on Sunday
