Lecturers at the Barony College campus at Parkgate went on strike for the second time in a week on Wednesday.And members of the EIS union are planning another nine walkouts before Christmas in a dispute over pay and gradings.EIS general secretary, Larry Flanagan, said: “Pay for lecturers at SRUC has fallen significantly behind the norms across both the further and higher education sectors.“It is time for management to stop dragging their feet and commit to paying their lecturers fairly for the vital work that they do.”A ballot of EIS members, which recorded a 65 per cent turnout, showed 93 per cent support for industrial action short of strike, and 86 per cent for strikes.Mr Flanagan added: “Lecturers at SRUC are not taking strike action
