Lanarkshire toddler group donate presents to make sure every child has Christmas gift

A Lanarkshire toddler group have played their part to make sure every child has a Christmas to remember.Teeny Tiny Totz, based in Cleland, set up a JustGiving tree within the local community in a bid to make sure every child has a present to open on Christmas Day.In just a few short days, over 40 presents were donated and have been distributed both locally and a little further afield.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

They have blown it out of the water once again.“The majority of presents have been given to local kids living in Cleland. I’m very proud that we have been in a position to help these children and make their Christmas Day extra special.“I have friends who are social workers and they were telling me about the real struggles people are facing so we have some presents over to them.”In just a few short months, the toddler group have become a firm fixture in Cleland village life.The group opened its doors for the first time in May after a group of mums became frustrated at having a lack of similar facilities in the village.The Teeny Tiny Totz team then established a youth club for older children later in the year.
