BBC Scotland to showcase towns that are 'beating heart' of the country
dailyrecord.co.ukFans of the BBC Scotland programme ‘My Kind of Town’ will be in for a treat tomorrow night (Thursday, January 5) when Girvan is given a fresh perspective by roving reporter Ian Hamilton.A New Year and a new perspective on some of Scotland’s towns kicks off with presenter Ian and his guide dog Major.For this third run of the popular series My Kind of Town, Ian and Major are ranging from Caithness to the Borders, getting to grips with local life and aspirations.Says Ian: “Two-thirds of us in Scotland live in small towns or near them.
