Lanarkshire pupils took centre stage on exam results day as they shared their results with TV viewers.Senior students at Hamilton Grammar appeared live on BBC Breakfast as they found out their grades for Higher, Advanced Higher and National qualifications – as results arrived with thousands of candidates by text message, email and traditional posted certificates.Pupils at the Auchingramont Road school were up early and in full uniform to appear on the early-morning news show, with several being interviewed on camera about their results, future plans and the impact of studying through the Covid years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
