The Met Office has warned that people all across the UK will be subjected to intense winds, heavy rain and potentially thunderstorms in the coming days.
It comes as Storm Betty moves across Ireland at the start of the weekend which will result in impact to western parts of the UK.
Because of this, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind for coastal areas located in western Wales, eastern Northern Ireland, and parts of northwest England and southwest Scotland.
While Manchester is not currently covered by the yellow warning, we're not escaping some of the bad weather. The Met Office predicts there will be small showery spells on Saturday and Sunday in the North West accompanied by grey clouds and temperatures as high as 22C.
