A former Lanarkshire headteacher who guided the Queen around her penultimate official visit to the county has shared her recollections of a memorable morning with Her Majesty.The late monarch visited Greenfaulds High in Cumbernauld – which is the Gaelic provision secondary for North Lanarkshire and welcomes pupils from across the authority – on the final day of the summer term in June 2019.Linda Park had the role of showing the Queen around the school, introducing her to dozens of youngsters and staff, before the royal visitor heard musical performances and presented awards including playing a delighted part in some special surprises.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
