J. Kim Murphy administratorAfter a two-week trial, a jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty of all charges in the Kenosha shootings.The 12-person jury began deliberating on Tuesday before reaching a verdict.
The eighteen-year-old Rittenhouse was found not guity on felony charges of first-degree reckless homicide and use of a dangerous weapon, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.The judge in the case had previously dismissed lesser charges against Rittenhouse of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 and failure to comply with an emergency order from state or local government during the trial.
