Tensions have seemingly been high amongst the senior members of the royal family. However, Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) would seemingly think they hit a boiling point just a few months ago.

At least, that’s what an upcoming book about the royal family is claiming. Royal reporter Robert Jobson claims that Princess Catherine called a moment shared with Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do” and explained why. Read more about the difficult royal moment… In his upcoming book Our King, Robert writes that the couples’ public reunion outside Windsor Castle before Queen Elizabeth‘s funeral was very tense, according to the Daily Mail. Prince William reportedly came up with the idea to present a united front after the loss of the monarch.

However, the retelling makes it sound quite stressful. “Catherine later admitted to a senior royal that, such was the ill feeling between the two couples, the joint walkabout was one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do,” he wrote, adding that it was only an “illusion.” The royal couples might be together again soon at King Charles‘ coronation.
