Meghan Markle has decided to stay in California with her two children while Prince Harry attends King Charles Coronation next month.
Buckingham Palace announced today that Harry will be part of the congregation inside Westminster Abbey to witness King Charles and Queen Camilla being crowned on May 6.
Meghan, however, will remain in the US while Harry travels back to the UK for the historic event. It's been reported that Meghan is likely to be staying at home, as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet did not receive invitations to the Coronation, as sources cited that they are "very young".
The date of Charles Coronation also falls on awkward timing for the Sussexes as it fell on Archie's fourth birthday. The clashing date reportedly caused a lot of stress for the Duke and Duchess, as the couple decided Meghan will stay home to celebrate with their son, writes the Mirror.Royal editor Omid Scobie tweeted: "I understand that Archie's fourth birthday (also on May 6) played a factor in the couple's decision.
