Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly made contact with Kalidou Koulibaly about a possible transfer. The Napoli centre-back is regarded as one of Europe’s most commanding defenders as has impressed once again this season.
Koulibaly’s performances has seen him linked with a move to the Premier League in the upcoming transfer window. Newcastle and Manchester United are said to be interested but it is European champions Liverpool who are being more prominently mentioned.
Klopp knows all about the Senegal international after seeing him up close over the last couple of seasons in the Champions League.
