Liverpool have been dealt a potential major blow in their pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram, with reports that Juventus are also interested.
The Reds have been linked with a summer move for the 22-year-old, who has enjoyed a stellar season in the Bundesliga. Thuram joined Gladbach in the summer of 2019 for just £8million from Guingamp despite being strongly linked with a move to Marseille.
But the move has paid off with the Frenchman claiming 14 goals and nine assists in is first campaign with his new club. Son of World Cup winner Lillian Thuram, Marcus is said to be of interest to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who has been monitoring him.
