Timo Werner has been tipped to replace Roberto Firmino in the Liverpool side. Jurgen Klopp is keen on bringing in his countryman after a sensational season.
The RB Leipzig ace has been scoring goals for fun, netting 30 in all competitions while adding a further 12 assists. And Werner has his sights firmly locked on a move to Anfield as the ex-Stuttgart star believes his style of play would be perfect for Liverpool.
If he does move, though, it is hard to envisage where he would be deployed in an already frightening attack. Klopp’s system relies on Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah bagging goals either side of Roberto Firmino, who acts like a glue that binds all three together.
