A Bridge of Allan trio have been hailed as lifesavers after pulling a pensioner to safety during recent flooding in the town.The dramatic incident took place shortly after 1am on February 22 after extended heavy rainfall had led streets in the town to become heavily flooded and impassable.Pam Wilson, husband Kevin and friend Amy Flynn were returning home from an evening at the Westerton Arms when Amy decided to test the level of flooding at the Haws Park and came across 83-year-old Willie Simpson trapped in the water.After alerting Pam and Kevin, the three friends risked their own lives to keep Willie warm and safe until emergency services arrived on the scene.Pam, 40, told the Observer: “Amy studies environmental science and she was
