A luxury swimwear brand backed by John Terry has failed to make a splash. The ex-Chelsea and England star invested money in the trendy Thomas Royall label.
He and his wife Toni have also been photographed modelling the pricey pool-side outfits. But the firm has decided to call in liquidators, although it still continues to trade.
The company is overdue in settling its latest accounts but the books for 2017 show it had debts of almost £250,000. It had been asking £85 for its shorts and £35 for T-shirts, but prices on the firm’s website have now been slashed, with T-shirts down to £18 and shorts £65.
