Chelsea legend John Terry could be on the verge of taking up his first solo managerial job. The former Blues captain, currently the assistant head coach of Aston Villa, has reportedly expressed an interest in becoming Bristol City’s new boss.
Terry has made no secret of wanting to be the main man in the dugout and thinks the Championship club have the potential and necessary backing to reach the top flight, the Daily Mail reports.
He would be following in the footsteps of his old team-mate Frank Lampard, who successfully took charge of promotion challengers Derby County before moving into the hotseat at Chelsea.
