Comedian Jason Manford has revealed he wears odour control pants so ­no-one can smell his farts. The TV host says he was forced to sport the special ­flatulence-filter undies by ­members of his family – including his children – as they were fed up of his "smelly" antics.

Jason, 38, who has admitted in the past to suffering from wind, joked: "The pants come in really handy. My kids actually bought me a pair for Christmas.

They work well." He has hinted at his gas-breaking habit before. In 2012 he wrote to fans on Facebook: "Who thinks farts are NOT funny?

If so please say so here so I can delete you from my Facebook page, you are no longer welcome!" In 2014 he tweeted: "Will @Gaviscon stop farts?
