Comedy genius Jason Manford has been offered a job by Iceland after his application to work for Tesco was turned down. The 38-year-old Mancunian comedian applied for a temp job to work as a driver for the retailer, but later revealed he was "livid" as he found out Tesco had rejected the application.

The supermarket replied to Jason's tweet in response to Tesco's rejection email. The company generously offered Jason the chance to work for the retailer for just one day, as well as promising to make a donation to the NHS in his name.
