After the comedian spoke about his rejection on social media, frozen food supermarket Iceland tweeted the comedian: “Our door is always open for you @JasonManford.
Help us out for the day and we’ll make a donation to the NHS in your name.” Making a slight dig at their competitor, Iceland added Tesco’s slogan to the end of the tweet, writing: “#everylittlehelps” with a wink emoji.
