This nine-year-old Italian boy on lockdown with his parents has designed his own video game to play online with pals where the aim is to destroy COVID-19 with a spaceship.

Lupo Daturi, who lives on the outskirts of Milan in the northern Italian region of Lombardy, one of the country’s worst-hit by COVID-19, told local media: “I had to stop all my sports because of the virus.

I couldn’t even go to the park with my dog.” Lupo, who enjoys programming video games with his father Marco Daturi, created a new online game where a spaceship called Cerba-20 fires laser beams at COVID-19 to kill the virus.

The nine-year-old boy said that he plays the game every night with pals and that he is also teaching them about programming.
