A mum was left ‘upset’ and ‘shocked’ when her son, who has learning difficulties, was given a place at a school rated ‘inadequate’ by Ofsted.
Rachael Brown has blasted council education bosses and claimed the school said they cannot meet his needs. Racheal Brown wanted her 11-year-old son Harvey Lee to attend Draycott Moor College, at Draycott in the Moors, Staffordshire.
But instead Stoke-on-Trent City Council has allocated him a place at the ‘inadequate’ Portland School and Specialist college, in Blythe Bridge, StokeonTrent Live reports.
