Royal parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been blasted by a parenting expert for leaving their children at home while they went on holiday. The royals were recently spotted enjoying some alone time on the Caribbean island of Canouan, following another couples' getaway to Portugal, while their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were nowhere to be seen, and presumably stayed at their home in Montecito, California.
Parenting expert Brenda Hart revealed to Express.co.uk that it is “important” for families to holiday together and that it is significant to have a "balanced family life".The expert told the publication: “Children are adaptable and if they need to be looked after by their nanny they will accept this.
However, if they are to have a well balanced family life they will still need to see their parents as regularly as possible." She continued: "It is the same for Harry and Meghan, balancing work with family life like any other working mum.
Holidays are usually times when the family spend time together and do some new and exciting activities. "It is important parents holiday with their children as this gives them memories and happy times to reflect and enjoy together which strengthens their relationship with their child." OK!
