Irish Women in Harmony have claimed the biggest download of the week and highest new entry on the Official Irish Singles Chart, according to new data from IRMA and OfficialCharts.com/Ireland.
The 39-strong charity collective of artists and musicians came together to record a cover of The Cranberries’ Dreams, with proceeds going to domestic abuse prevention agency SAFE Ireland.
Dreams enters the Top 50 today at Number 15. Irish Women in Harmony was organised by Donaghmede singer-songwriter RuthAnne and features the likes of Imelda May, Moya Brennan, Soulé, Aimée, Pillow Queens and Wyvern Lingo.
