Investigators have been spotted scouring the scene of a flat fire in Edinburgh.Fire officers wearing white suits were spotted on South Bridge following the blaze that ripped through a tenement building on Saturday afternoon, Edinburgh Live reports.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the bridge was temporarily closed to traffic and pedestrians while firefighters tackled the inferno.
There were no reported injuries but a joint investigation between Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is now underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
Six fire appliances attended the scene after the fire broke out at roughly 6.30pm on June 3.Nearly three days later, investigators have finally been able to access the wreckage after a thorough examination was completed to check the safety of the building.
