West Ham have signed more dud strikers than most people have had hot dinners - but German flop Savio Nsereko might just be the pick of the whole rotten bunch.
Signed as a replacement for Craig Bellamy following his move to Manchester City in January 2009, Savio joined the Hammers to great fanfare in a £7million deal from Brescia.
Not much was known about the Ugandan-born German forward, who had bagged a less than impressive three goals in 23 appearances for Brescia that season before his switch to Upton Park.
Not great numbers, and a lot of money for someone who was intended to fill the great Welsh void left by Bellamy's departure.
