"If things don't change, it won't be a planet we want to call home" - students in Greater Manchester plead with their peers to become more climate conscious

Climate change is a global emergency which has an impact on us all. Issues relating to climate are impacting communities across the UK, but we wanted to know what young people from Greater Manchester think about the issue, and what changes they think can be made to stop climate change in its tracks.

On Thursday, September 30, we met with Libbie Mowbray, scale acceleration manager for NatWest, along with two Our Pass students from Greater Manchester, Harrison and Belle, who were keen to debate the climate crisis.

Also joining the panel was councillor Neil Emmott, climate lead for the Greater Manchester combined authority. The panel came together to discuss the climate emergency, ahead of the pivotal COP26 event due to be hosted in Glasgow
