Coronavirus infection rates have fallen in seven boroughs of Greater Manchester and risen in three areas. Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester.
The borough recorded a rate of 554.8 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending October 24, according to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 392.8 cases per 100,000 population. The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 467.1 cases per 100,000
