'I-5 Strangler' serial killer found dead while serving life for seven murders
mirror.co.ukA serial killer and rapist who took the lives of seven women has allegedly been murdered behind bars. Roger Kibbe, 81, known as the 'I-5 Strangler' was reportedly found unresponsive in his prison cell on Sunday.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said Kibbe was discovered during a population count in the morning.
He was rushed to the prison's medical facility where was was pronounced dead. The death is being treated as a homicide. According to The Sacramento Bee, at the time of the discovery, Kibbe's cellmate Jason Budrow, 40, was standing in the cell.
