Hundreds of families got into the festive spirit in Glasgow today as the Coca Cola Christmas truck rolled into the city. Children and parents queued in the freezing cold at Silverburn Shopping Centre to catch a glimpse of the iconic vehicle, which has become a festive tradition since it first appeared on our screens for the memorable ‘Holidays are Coming’ adverts 26 years ago.
Families were given the chance to have their photo taken with the Coca Cola branded truck, with plenty of activities available to keep kids busy in the lines of queues.Punters were also given free samples of the sugar free version of the popular soft drink upon entry to the free event.
