Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums. FORMER Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has savaged Elton John and Ed Sheeran's Christmas song. The TV presenter took to Twitter to slam the festive-inspired musical collaboration between pop singer Ed, 30, and Sir Elton, 74 as "cringe".
