The family of a missing Scot whose belongings were found near a loch are 'growing increasingly concerned for his welfare'. Lawrence Penswick was last seen in Babylon Road in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire at around 2.40am on Friday.
Police think the 57-year-old went to Strathclyde Country Park at some point, as some of his belongings were recovered near the south side of Strathclyde Loch.
Lawrence is described as a black male, five foot ten inches tall and of a medium build with short black hair. When last seen, he was wearing a grey, ‘bubble’ style jacket and a dark-coloured baseball cap.
