Humberside Police have launched a manhunt to find a suspect who escaped while being transferred to court by a security company.
Authorities have appealed to the public for help in finding Jonathan West after he escaped custody on Saturday morning while en route to Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.
Mr West had been arrested on Friday and charged with ABH (actual bodily harm) and two counts of common assault and was reprimanded until his court appearance – which his disappeared before.
Police shared a photograph of Mr West, showing him with short dark hair, square jawed, and with a slightly bent nose. Grimsby Live reports that a Humberside Police spokesperson gave a statement in relation to the manhunt.
