Throughout the pandemic there have been tales of incredible bravery from our NHS staff and key workers. But alongside those have been the quiet, almost everyday acts of kindness which have changed lives and helped so many.
At the start of the lockdown we teamed up with the Red Cross for a Kindness Will Keep Us Together campaign and more than 70,000 have signed up to help someone in need.
From driving people to hospital appointments to shopping trips and delivering essential medicines, more than 180,000 acts of kindness have been carried out across the country.
Here, just a few of those Red Cross workers, helpers, and those they helped, reveal what a difference it has made to their lives.
