John Gosden does have a way with the fillies – and he could have another serious talent on his hands in NAZEEF (3.55) who is unleashed at Kempton today.
The four-year-old falls into the “could be anything” category after a curtailed career so far. Unraced at two, she saw the track four times last season winning a couple of small races before really arriving on the scene in her final spin at Newmarket.
She powered six lengths clear of a 92-rated rival in effortless style and the daughter of Invincible Spirit is an exciting addition to Gosden’s band of older horses.
Today she is chucked into the deep end in the EBF/Unibet Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes and takes on former QIPCO 1,000 Guineas heroine Billesdon Brook.
