Budget retailer Home Bargains has released its own essential food box, costing £23.99. The box, which was launched last week, includes kitchen staples and household goods such as milk, canned goods, and toilet roll.
In a statement posted on its website, Home Bargains said: "Home Bargains understands the importance of our customers getting essential food items during this unprecedented time. "We have carefully selected some of our best selling products to create the Essential Food Box; ideal for those who may be struggling to get certain items, are self-isolating or want to send a care package to a loved one." It's the latest shop to sell products such as this, following on from the likes of Aldi, Morrisons and M&S.
