A headteacher who sent parents a heartfelt letter telling them that that they are doing a great job of homeschooling during the third lockdown has been praised.
After a moving conversation with a parent who admitted she was struggling during the coronavirus lockdown, Sarah White, headteacher at Coates Lane Primary school in Barnoldswick, Lancs, penned a letter to reassure everyone that everything was going to be OK.
Sarah, 40, told parents not to worry if their children are eating microwave meals, spending too much time on the Xbox, or are not finishing all of the work set, as the most important thing is that the pupils are "safe, loved and cared for".
