Jo Muir has backed the decision to postpone this year’s Olympic Games.The athlete had been hoping to qualify to represent Team GB in the modern pentathlon in Tokyo.But after the International Olympic Committee decided to delay the games until next summer due to the coronavirus outbreak, she’ll have to wait until 2021 for her big chance if she is successful in making the grade.Muir, who is now back home in Haugh of Urr, said: “I think it’s the right decision by the IOC as there’s no way they could have held an Olympic Games this year.“Health and safety has to come first and even though Japan doesn’t have that number of cases, it would have involved thousands of people travelling and it was too big a risk, so from that aspect it’s the right
