A mum who put her severe headaches down to stress following a devastating fire at her farm was shocked to discover they were caused by a brain tumour.
Tara Batten, 54, decided to get her migraines and "flashing in her eye" checked out after being urged by her partner, Mark Williams, 64.
The symptoms worsened during their journey back to the UK, prompting Tara to visit an optician - a decision she believes saved her life.
The couple, who liveoverseas, had their farm nearly wiped out by a wildfire, which almost destroyed their home as well, leading Tara to assume that the resulting stress was behind her migraines, the Mirror reports.
