Prince Harry was branded the "People's Prince" after he wore a "Girl Dad" t-shirt as he starred in a new cringe-worthy advert for his "eco-travel initiative".As part of his Travalyst eco-travel initiative, Harry has launched a new campaign inspired by Māori values, and showed off his acting skills in it alongside Flight of the Concords comedian Rhys Darby. In the clip Harry, 37, is seen jogging through a park before Darby chases him, yelling "Harry!
Hazza! H!" - the latter being a reference to his wife Meghan Markle's nickname for him. The five-minute ad, filmed in California, shows Harry accused of dropping a sweet wrapper while on a trip to New Zealand in 2018.The prince looks bemused, with Darby then joking: "It might have been a confusing time, it was windy."Harry responds: “I don’t think it was confusing.
It was an incredible time. We had an amazing time in New Zealand. It’s beautiful.”As the five-minute clip continues, the prince makes a number of references in Māori, including "kia ora" - meaning "have life" or "be healthy", and "kei te pai", which means "I'm fine".The video aims to direct Kiwis to the Travalyst website, set up by the prince in 2019 in a bid to help tourists make more sustainable choices when travelling.Responding to the clip on Twitter after it was shared by royal journalist Omid Scobie, one person wrote: "Prince Harry, The People's Prince!
He grows more in calibre and gets more intelligent everyday."That clip is so funny! Speaking Maori, respecting indigenous values; fit, funny, fun."While working hard for a better future; what a man.
