Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will give fans a never-seen-before look at their home lives in a new Netflix series, according to Hollywood insiders.

Camera crews have reportedly been allowed into the couple's mansion at Montecito, California, and accompanied them last year on a trip to New York City.The shock reports come after the streaming giant reportedly grew impatient with a lack of content coming from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following their £72million deal last year.Meghan's proposed series Pearl, an animated children's show, was cancelled before ever seeing the light of day, along with a slew of other Netflix shows last month.But the promise of behind-the-scenes footage should be enough to keep them happy, industry sources claim, despite it not being fully known what has been caught on camera.A Hollywood insider told Page Six: "I think it’s fair to say that Netflix is getting its pound of flesh".Harry's documentary, Heart of Invictus, is meanwhile said to have been shooting footage as recently as last month, although a prospective date for release is unknown.For the latest breaking news and stories from across the globe from the Daily Star, sign up for our newsletter by clicking here.The multi-episode documentary is set for an exclusive Netflix release, but an unnamed US consultant has said the pair are under pressure to deliver more to the streaming platform.Speaking to the Daily Mirror, they said: "We are getting to a point within the business where Netflix executives are evaluating what content around the royals and the Sussexes is actually ­coming into them."The couple have also failed to bring out more than one episode of their Archewell Audio podcast for Spotify and criticised the app earlier this.
