A gunman walked up to his target on a Manchester street and shot him in the leg. The victim was on Oldham Road in Miles Platting when he was approached.
The shooting was just before 8.40pm on Sunday March 15th. The 32-year-old man who was hit is in a stable condition in hospital.
A GMP statement read: "At around 8.40pm on Sunday, March 15, 2020, police were called to reports of a firearms discharge on Oldham Road, Manchester. "Officers attended and found a 32-year-old man with a leg injury. "He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. "An investigation is underway. "No arrests have been made." The shooting is not being linked to another at around 11.55pm on Friday March 13th on nearby Winstanley Road.
