A heartbroken daughter was forced to tell her children through a car window that their beloved grandad had died from coronavirus.
Dad-of-two and grandad-of-two Frank Nuttall, 64, died on Sunday after being struck down by the virus less than a week earlier.
He had been self-isolating alone in his bedroom in Bolton, Greater Manchester before banging on the walls for his wife to call an ambulance.
By that afternoon, Frank was in intensive care at the Royal Bolton Hospital, needing a ventilator to maintain his oxygen levels.
