Good Morning Britain’s former resident weatherman Alex Beresford has revealed the racial abuse he has received from online trolls since he was replaced by Laura Tobin.The 41-year-old shared an abusive tweet which was directed to him after Good Morning Britain sent out its own tweet from its social media account.The official GMB Twitter account posted a video of Laura as she presented the weather, but one foul mouthed hater took the opportunity to send some abuse Alex’s way.Alex took a screenshot of the troll and immortalised their racist comment on his Twitter profile, which read: “Thank you for coming back, cannot stand that [unrepeatable]”.The former weatherman didn't hesitate to call out the racist with: “Andrew, you’ve made a typo there!”Shocked fans were appalled to see the brazen abuse and replied to Alex’s tweet.One wrote: “Mate, I’m so sorry this s*** is still happening or has ever happened in the first place."Another posted: “This is why I’m one hundred percent in favour of all Twitter accounts being verified.
