John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".
Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.
Sharon Osbourne has revealed she was forced to get 24 hour security after being bombarded with death threats. The 69-year-old appeared on tonight's episode (April 27) of Piers Morgan's TalkTV show Uncensored where she explained the consequences of defending him for reportedly being racist.
Last year, Sharon's The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood accused Piers of being racist towards Meghan Markle - something which Sharon defended.Shortly after, the former X Factor judge was fired from the show after 11 years.Sharon said: "I never thought in my wildest dreams that my career after 50 years would have ended that way.
I mean, what did I want my legacy to be, that I was fired because I was accused of being racist?"Speaking about what happened after she was fired, Sharon explained that she doesn't scare easily, however, she admitted: "Some of the comments that were coming through on my social media were so horrific about cutting my throat, my husband’s, even the dogs, they wanted to kill my dogs!"Sharon went on to say that the threats moved to her husband, Ozzy Osbourne and then their kids which she thought was "just insanity."The TV personality explained that she went back to CBS and said: "Not only can I not earn a living, but now I have to have 24 hour security because of you.
And they go 'so what?"The former Good Morning Britain host then asked Sharon if she has spoken to her co presenter Sheryl since being fired.Sharon explained that she sent her former co host "three texts of apologies" however she never got a response.Sharon revealed that the TV host then went on to national TV and publicly stated that Sharon had never apologised.
