GLASTONBURY boss Michael Eavis is optimistic about the festival returning next year. The world-famous music event has been cancelled two years in a row because of Covid curbs.
But the organiser said his team was upbeat about June 2022. Family camping on the site has proved a huge success this summer.
A proposed smaller festival next month will no longer take place as the team concentrate on the temporary campsite. But he said of next year: “Psychologically we’re feeling so good.” He added: “In spite of there being no festival, it’s been a wonderful year.
