Bosses at a Scots university have banned exams on campus over coronavirus fears. An email, seen by the Record, sent to students by Glasgow uni principal Sir Anton Muscatelli said that tests scheduled in April and May will not take place at exam halls at the institution.
A spokesman for the uni said they would take place "remotely" instead. In the note, the boss ruled out the uni being completely closed but acknowledged "how worrying and unsettling things must be" for the learners.The email read: "The University has been making contingency plans that will allow us to develop alternative approaches for the delivery of assessment and teaching if this needs to be changed."The specific arrangements for course assessments are still being
