AS a chart-topping pop star, George Ezra ought to be used to the finer things in life like champagne-fuelled parties and a red carpet being rolled out wherever he goes.
But when lockdown struck and the singer was left struggling with the idea of whether he even wanted to continue with music, he made a drastic decision to leave any glitz and glamour behind to get back to basics.
In an exclusive interview, George has revealed he quit London at the height of lockdown to live in the back of a van on a farm, where he spent his days riding a lawnmower.
That led to his decision to spend three months camping across the UK in a “truly life-changing experience” which has reinvigorated his passion for music, as he prepares to release his third studio album, Gold Rush Kid.
