£100 fine.Anne Thorpe and her husband, Edward, were on their way home from a holiday when they stopped off to visit Fraisthorpe Beach to show her kids her much-loved spot. They pulled into the car park and Anne’s son stayed in their vehicle so he could pay the parking warden if he came, she told Hull Live. But the OAP was horrified to later learn the short visit had set her back £100 in fines. She said: "We were staying at South Beach for a few days and on the way home we wanted them to see the beach, because we've been before and it's a lovely beach."I told my son, 'stay in the car and if he comes I'll pay him.' I just took the kids to see the beach for 15 minutes or so, but no one had been to take payment."A first letter through the post.
