Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle has revealed she's thinking about "retiring" from acting. The actress, who played Janice Battersby in the ITV soap for 14 years, has announced she's planning on ditching showbiz after not receiving feedback from directors after attending auditions.
She said on Twitter: "Just had a few Zoom auditions. Half of me thinks I’m lucky.. the other half thinks.. any feed back cocky b******s!!"REPUB: Corrie newcomer Laurence star's forgotten soap roles as he joins show at Sean's new manVicky added: "It’s just cost me £80 in petrol.

I gonna retire!"TV star Vicky, who lives in rural Lancashire and has a holiday cottage business, left Corrie back in 2011 after 14 years in the soap as gobby Janice , the wife of Les Battersby (Bruce Jones) and mum of Toyah (Georgia Taylor)and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).Since leaving the cobbles, the soap star has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, Holby City and Ackley Bridge.It comes after she admitted that she no longer watches Corrie and hit out "talentless cast".However, she said in May this year she may start tuning in again following the decision to bring back the character of eco-warrior Geoffrey David "Spider" Nugent (Martin Hancock).Vicky, 53, tweeted at the time: "This may just be the best news I have heard in the last 10 years!!"Bring the Talent back!!!
